  • high fees (all-in fees leave a lot of room for "surprises") for mediocre service
  • Blind trust in Madoff (and certainly high commissions by him) and a communication disaster afterwards. pretty bad picture after years of success
  • Focusing now more and more on emerging markets. have rolled out new products and are expanding to asia. but could be a bit late to that party ;-)
