They do have some innovative funds and I bought some for my portfolio. However, you do not need to be client to buy them and can save the extra management fee. All in all I think they do a good job, better and more individualized than the big player such as UBs and CS

Kept pushin derivatives and strucured products on to me. Not trustworthy in my view because these products are very intransparent and arcane

I am always looking for banks with outstanding research and I think Vontobel is among them. I think their picks and predictions are on average more accurate than most what I've seen from the larger banks. They don't cover as many companies though.

big in structured products. did not make me very happy. today I would avoid most of them
